Turkey 2021 Itinerary
Turkey was a last-minute addition to our trip due to flying on Turkish Airlines via Istanbul. In 2020 we had planned and booked a trip that included Ukraine, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and England. Unfortunately, that was canceled due to the pandemic. Therefore, we wanted to do some of that trip in 2021 that would include Ukraine, Georgia, and Turkey as our destinations.
There was a last-minute change to our plans, we needed to visit South Africa first. Unfortunately, due to visiting South Africa, we would need a 10-day break before entering Turkey due to COVID travel restrictions. South Africa was still considered a hot spot for COVID by Turkey. Luckily, Ukraine was a perfect option for the 10 days and we could finally do part of the canceled 2020 trip. Therefore, we spent 3 nights each in Kyiv, Lviv, and Odesa before heading to Turkey. Unfortunately, we had to skip Georgia due to the last-minute change in plans.
We didn’t take as many pictures this trip, I concentrated on videos for my YouTube channel instead. Please check out the videos in the Turkey 2021 playlist on YouTube.
